Are you a full-time speaker or is speaking just your passion?

Without knowing what our topic will be, tell us what you are doing or want to do to change the world? Some may think this is a broad question, but we all can change the world in some way. What are you doing to make a change?

TED Talks are non-paid. We are not allowed to pay speakers and that is not the overall vision of TED Talks. TED Talks are thought provoking messages from various speakers that will allow for discussion and brainstorming. Is this something you really want to be part of even though this is not a paid platform? If so, why do you want to be part of TEDx Prince George's and what can you offer the listeners that is new, different and creative?

*(Speakers will be given access to their individual videotaped talks after the event and you will be able to share it as often as you like. The more you share it, the more it may get in front of those who may ultimately want to connect with you to do future collaborations with you in the future. TED Talks are very powerful indeed. This is why we want to make sure only the right individuals are part of this very exclusive and important event.

This particular TEDx event will have limited tickets (only 100) but we will require each of our speakers to be willing to sell at least 8 tickets to industry colleagues, high-level business associates or mentors that you would like to see you speak on an official TEDx platform. Will you commit to selling at least 8 tickets?

(You can always sell more if you we have any available, but to make sure that this event is infused with the right, like-minded individuals, we want our speakers to make sure they too are putting people in the room that will be interested in these thought-provoking talks. Tickets will be sold for $99 and will include snacks and lunch as well as we only have 100 tickets available. Ticket sales will go to make sure all event costs are covered along with sponsors.)

What would your talk be about? TEDx talks are not supposed to be "self-promoting". You can weave a little of your journey in your talk but it is supposed to be thought-provoking and educational. Please tell us a little about what you might want to speak about.

Have you seen any TED or TEDx talks? Talks can be no more than 20 minutes. Do you need TEDx training? We are connected with two individuals who train on how to do TED talks effectively. They may charge a fee, but it will be worth it. If you are interested, please advise and we may be able to get a group rate if all our speakers are interested in being part of this training.

Do you have any ADA requirements? (i.e, wheelchair accessible, hearing impaired, sight impaired, etc.)

Do you have any questions, comments or suggestions of other topics that might be a good fit for this TEDx event? All suggestions and comments will be taken under advisement.
